Landscape Painting | The Pines Were Roaring

This landscape painting was originally just meant to serve as the environment for some characters that I had previously sketched out. In the end, I thought it worked better as a stand alone environment design. I had to finish it off with an element of fantasy though, or it just wouldn't be my art.
